Everyone has been raving about Virgin America, so I decided to give it a whirl on my last trip to San Francisco.  Overall, it is a great airline for American standards.  But that is just it.....American standards.  I expected to have a more international (British Airways/Emirates) quality level and experience on the flight.

Staff was funny and friendly while checking in and on the flight, so that was a big plus.  However, it was little things like seats that don't recline at 180 degrees and no food service on the flight back that will make be give this airline a B- in my book.

I still favor Singapore Airlines, British Airways and Emirates.
